Seoul
Semiconductor Files Patent Infringement Suit Against
Nichia in The United States
|
|

Seoul Semiconductor
filed a lawsuit against Nichia Corporation in the United
States District Court for the Eastern District
of Texas on November 6. And the complaint was
delivered to Nichia on November 8, 2007.

The background
of the suit was Nichia's infringement of Seoul
Semiconductor's patent covering Nichia's products
which include white, blue, green and UV light emitting diodes (LED).
|
|
-
|
Seoul Semiconductor is seeking an injunction, and damages
adequate to compensate for past and future infringement
of the Nichia's sales.
