● ITC Institutes Investigation of Nichia Based on a Complaint filed by
Seoul Semiconductor

ITC will investigate the importation and sales into USA of
Nichia’s short wavelength semiconductor lasers and
Nichia consumer electronic
products containing those devices that infringe Seoul Semiconductor's U.S.
Patent No. 5,321,713. |

If Nichia is found in its violation, the ITC is authorized to exclude from
further importation into the USA infringing Nichia short wavelength
laser semiconductors and
devices. |

● Acriche
attains higher luminance efficacy of 80 lm/W
|

Seoul Semiconductor
announced that it has succeeded in raising the
efficiency of Acriche to 80 lm/W.
|

Acriche is now almost as bright as
conventional DC LEDs and it will accelerate expansion LED market
|
